All Grown Up | Kip and Co

Its definitely no secret that i love bedding. Layered blankets, lush pillows and miss matched patterns and textures. Kip and co's AW14 collection has something for everyone. You can mix hero prints with a classic Ash Chambray sheet or you can go all out fun.

Bedding is a great way to give your room a mini make over - to brighten a dull room with bright linen and maybe a new bedside table or stool and lamp, and you have yourself a little guest retreat to be proud of. For the more adventurous, try pulling a beautiful pastel tone refrence (or something bright) from kip and co's range to paint your walls and use the bedding to complement or contrast for a super fresh look.

And while your perusing the bedding range make sure to take a look at their amazing new bath towels, to lift even the most boring of bathrooms.

Murobond and Porters paint have the perfect colours to sit side by side with your new Kip and Co linen.

Watercolours

Courtney Berry is one young artist to keep an eye on. I commissioned her to create an artwork for me during my time on the block (pictured above). Her watercolours are dreamlike and full of dimensions.
Framed in a collection plywood frames in various sizes or strung with wooden pegs across a blank wall with string these pieces can find themselves at home just about anyway.

You can see more of her work via her blog mainobsession.tumblr.com or instagram @courtneyberry

Ahoy

Two things that most people know about me is that I'm always on the hunt for new (affordable) art and that i love pineapples. Thus Ahoy trader + Me = match made in heaven.

Jai Vasicek's layered artworks are the perfect solution to brightening up that drab hallway or filling a lonely wall with a curated collection of his tiles. His pieces are unique and impacting, reminiscent of a mexican adventure, inspired by the people and stories along the way.

Anyone passing through Byron would be crazy not to stop and take a look at Jai's store, and while your there grab a raw smoothie from next door.

You can buy Jai's art from Ahoy Trader in Byron Bay or online stockists are listed on the Ahoy Trader Website. Prices start from around $50.00.

Dream Home

This is my dream home nestled within the french island of Corsica. It is the holiday home of Carol and Fred and their two daughters. It is filled with an eclectic mix of perfectly chosen pieces from their travels around the world. Raw timbers mixed with bright coloured cushions and natural materials.
